Assessment

Responsibilities and Duties

Morton College’s assessment efforts are coordinated by the Academic Assessment Planning Committee (AAPC).

The AAPC usually meets at least twice a month, is chaired by one or more faculty members and is open to all faculty and staff members. The AAPC maintains a mission statement and job description for its chair(s).

While the faculty are chiefly responsible for the assessment of student learning, a variety of administrators support these efforts, including the Vice President of Academic and Student Development, the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Institutional Research and the academic and student affairs deans.
