Melissa Cundari holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois and a Master of Science in Human Service Administration.
Melissa has worked in food policy for over 10 years, and currently holds the position as Senior Program Specialist at USDA-FNS, where she oversees policy and compliance for the SNAP
program (formerly Food Stamps) for six Midwestern States.
Prior to her position at USDA, she was the SNAP Outreach Manager at Feeding America, America’s largest anti-hunger organization.
Melissa has also served the State of Illinois in administering TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program), the Illinois Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program, and the Illinois Food Stamp Outreach Program.
Additionally, she is the Vice Chair of the Morton College Board of Trustees, an elected position she has held since 2008.
