How to Become a Student

  • To qualify for our free services, our students must read below a 9th grade level, and be at least 16 years old and not attending high school.
  • In addition to helping native speakers of English, we offer assistance to students who speak English as a Second Language (ESL).
  • We welcome all students who have a strong desire to learn or improve their English reading and writing skills.
  • Students will be placed with a tutor in a one-to-one setting or in a group setting.
  • We also encourage students to use educational software located in the adult education lab at Morton College.
  • Students can stop by our office in Morton College Room 245C or call us at 708-656-8000 x383 to sign up for tutoring.
