Financial Aid Mission
Our office mission is to provide services and programs to all Morton College students in support of their education. The financial aid office is committed to advising students and families, tracking academic progress, processing need analysis information, coordinating awards, and distributing funds accordingly. Financial Aid programs will be administered with integrity in order to help as many students as funding will permit.
Financial Aid News and Events
College Goal Sunday is a free statewide program that helps students and families complete the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA), the form required in order to receive federal financial assistance for higher education. Morton College will be hosting a College Goal Sunday event on February 19th 2012 from 10a.m- 2p.m. in room 233C. During this event students and parents can talk to financial aid experts in regard to types of funding available, who is eligible, and how to calculate finical need, as well as receiving assistance in filling out the 2012-2013 FAFSA application. Anyone who plans to attend any college—whether it be a four-year college, community college, vocational or technical school—is welcome to participate in this event. Assistance will be offered in both English and Spanish.
