Q: 1. Where is the Office of Admissions and Records located?
A: The Office of Admissions and Records is located in the first floor of building B.

Q: 2. I don’t know where to begin. What do I do?
A:

1. Complete a New Student Information Form and turn it in at the Office of Admissions and Records. Pay the $10 process fee at the Cashier Office located in the 1st floor of building A. You can also mail the New Student Information Form to:

2. Students intending to enroll in an English or mathematics course must take a placement test. To setup a testing appointment contact the Academic Advising and Testing Center at (708) 656-8000 ext. 250.

A: Morton College’s district includes Cicero, Berwyn, Lyons, Forest View, Stickney and McCook.

Q: 7.Can I get in-district rates if I work in-district?
A:

Yes, you can get in-district tuition rates if you work in-district whether it is part-time or full-time. Your employer must fill out a work in-district form, which can be found in the Office of Admissions and Records. You will need to renew the form each semester.

The following information must be provided and certified by the employer on company letterhead:

 - Employer name
 - Employer address
 - Employer business phone
 - Supervisor name
 - Title of supervisor
 - Employee name and position
 - Dates of employment

Misrepresentation or falsification of this certification may result in a student’s dismissal from college or subject the student to College disciplinary action.

Q: 8. What is the last day to drop a class?
A:

Dropping a course after the Drop deadline is not permitted. Please refer to thedrop deadline and Tutition refund schedule for detail information.

Q: 9. What is the tuition refund policy?
A:

Refunds for short term classes vary according to length of the course. A student is entitled to a full refund for a class that is canceled by the college.

Q: 10. How do I know if I am a full-time or part-time student?
A:

Full-time - enrolled in 12 credit hours or more.
Part-time - enrolled in 11 credit hours or less.

notes: for summer, full time is 6 hours or more and anything less than 6 is part time, but only for summer sessions.
