Library User Instruction

The Morton College Library promotes Information Literacy: the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for research or class assignments. These skills form the basis for lifelong learning, critical thinking, and the ability of students to evaluate information which they can use throughout their lives.

Faculty may request workshops, tours and classes tailored to their specific paper assignments or requests. To schedule a tour of the library or a library instruction class, please submit the form below or call the reference desk at 708-656-8000, x429.
