MIS Department

The mission of the Management of Information Systems (MIS) is to provide the leadership, guidance, and technical skills required to establish and support information technology architecture and accompanying services that support Morton's vision, mission, and goals.

Information System Computing Services


Runs and supports our current back-end information systems. Morton College has implemented a new ERP system to better serve
our students, faculty, staff and community. It provides a variety of services through student portal and employee portal.

Student Portal and Online Registration

Panther Portal for current students provides services such as news, emails, calendars, course schedules, online registration, payment plans, access blackboard courses and more.

Employee Portal
Panther Portal for Faculty and staff provides convenient services when you are off-campus, including email checking, calendars, course schedules, roster, gradebook, profiles, paystub and so on.

Helpdesk Center Operations

Our central helpdesk system handles all kinds of technical support. Call hotline Ext. 2444 in case of emergency or you can submit a ticket to our online helpdesk, or by email to

Student Email
Current student email services are integrated with student portal. Please log into Panther Portal to access your emails.

Faculty and Staff Email
Outlook email Web access. Questions or problems? email to open a helpdesk ticket. ID is required to process AD account changes for a Morton employee.

 

Network Services

Websense Filter Support

If you need to unblock any work-related website on campus, you can submit a ticket to our online helpdesk.

Wireless Access
Public Wifi access at college library area. Contact Network Administrator for information for the wireless connectivity. Report issues to our helpdesk representatives here: online helpdesk

Employee Network Data Access
ID is required to process AD account changes for a Morton employee. Please contact Network Administrator for special access needs.

System backup and recovery services
Scheduled backup services for files, servers.
