Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

What is WIOA?

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program that helps eligible individuals gain the skills and training needed to enter or advance in today’s workforce. Participants may receive financial assistance to cover approved training programs, helping reduce or eliminate the cost of education and career training.

At Morton College, WIOA supports students by funding approved programs that lead to in-demand careers in healthcare, business, information technology, skilled trades, and more.
