For the past 10 years, Rudy Yañez has worked in various roles in higher education, including Title V Cohort Academic Advisor, Student Activities & Leadership Assistant and Student Life Coordinator. Currently, he works as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Faculty for the College Study Seminar (CSS 100). Rudy is currently responsible for providing academic advising to students who have 30 or more credits and intend to matriculate to a four-year university. Rudy is passionate about helping students discover how their identity and values intersect with their academic pathway, as well as how to take a proactive role in their college experience.
Rudy holds an M.A. in Higher Education and Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
