Sonia Perez received her B.S. in Information Science from Northeastern Illinois University, then her M.A. in Multi-Categorical Education from Governors State University.
She worked as an elementary school guidance counselor before joining Morton College as an academic advisor. She currently works with STEM students (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), in particular students wishing to major in Computer Science.
One piece of advice she would give students is: βI advise. You decide.β
