Disability Awareness Month: Disability in the Media

Did you know October is Disability Awareness Month?

Morton College’s Student Disability Services is hosting a series of events to create awareness and assist students with disabilities. All events are hosted remotely on Zoom.

Disability in the Media – 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 20th

This event will feature clips from television and film that depict disability. Attendees will discuss how this content shapes people’s perceptions and attitudes towards disabilities.
