Virtual Exploration Week: Student Conduct/Dean of Students

Participants will learn about the Dean of Students Office (DOS) that serves as one of the primary advocates for students. DOS provides students with a central location to which they can turn with problems they are unable to resolve, and connect them with a variety of campus resources. Issues and challenges the office provides help with include but are not limited to:

• Academic issues
• Finals rescheduling due to exigent circumstances
• Personal issues affecting academics
• Medical injuries or emergencies
• Students needing to take time away from their studies (withdrawal)

In addition,  the student conduct principles will be

discussed briefly as well as other student resources such as the Student

Emergency Fund.
