Associate in Arts Degree - Statistics Course Sequence
These placement options are for students pursuing an AA degree who plan to transfer to a four year university which requires a statistics course for the student’s planned major.
The length of a course sequence is determined by the placement of the student. Students are placed based on their high school math course results, college or dual credit math course results, ACT or SAT scores, or their score on a placement test.

- who have been placed into MAT 080 -OR-
- who did not receive Cs or better in their final math class in high school -OR-
- who have not taken a math class in 5 or more years and do not use math on a regular basis.
This placement option is for students:
- who have been placed into MAT 098 -OR-
- who received Cs in their final math class in high school -OR-
- who have not taken a math class in 5 or more years but use math on a somewhat regular basis.
This placement option is for students:
- who have been placed into MAT 141 -OR-
- who received Bs or higher in their final math class in high school -OR-
- who have not taken a math class in 5 or more years but use math on a regular basis.
